Grilled Red, White & Blue Dessert Flatbread
Prep: 15 minutes plus cooling
Grill: 3 minutes • Serves: 6
1 teaspoon Our Family® Ground Cinnamon
1 package (14.1 ounces) naan flatbread (2 flatbreads)
2 tablespoons Our Family® Unsalted Butter, melted
1-1/2 cups thawed Our Family® Original Whipped Topping
1-1/2 cups thinly sliced fresh strawberries
3/4 cup fresh blueberries
1.Prepare outdoor grill for direct grilling over medium heat. In small bowl, whisk sugar and cinnamon. Brush both sides of flatbreads with butter; sprinkle with sugar mixture. Place flatbreads on hot grill rack; cover and cook 3 minutes or until grill marks appear, turning once. Cool flatbreads completely.
2.Spread 1 side of flatbreads with 1-1/4 cups whipped topping; arrange strawberries and blueberries over whipped topping to create “flag.” Transfer remaining 1/4 cup whipped topping to piping bag fitted with small star tip; pipe “stars” over blueberries.
3.Cut each flatbread into 6 rectangular or triangular-shaped pieces.
